　　as的用法

　　3. 考了 so.....as......., so.....that.......,什么什么的忘了

　　4. 有關(guān)自由女神像的一道，說國會同意接受法國捐贈的'自由女神像但是要用作燈塔，這里狗主選了as燈塔，好像是D，開頭是以那個法案開頭的

　　5. As用法，四題

　　分析：

　　Just as I need xxx to do yyy, (so) my brother needs aaa to do bbb.

　　Just as I need xxx to do yyy, (so) does my brother need aaa to do bbb.

　　the only one + of

　　7. 考到了一道題，關(guān)于定語從句里主謂一致的選項。答案中有the only one of the law firms that uses 這個選項，百度后發(fā)現(xiàn)the only one + of 后面的定語從句是單數(shù)動詞的`，切記。其他混淆的項有one of --- that uses 這個是錯的。

　　分析：考點主謂一致，用主謂一致作為一個優(yōu)先的split，非常有效，當(dāng)然要結(jié)合語義，找準(zhǔn)主語和謂語。

　　returning

　　10. 開始一道題很繞。大概記得結(jié)構(gòu)是：

　　The scientists round up as many as 10000 animals that were set free by the own of the animal presevre, returning-----(伴隨狀語)

　　樓主選的就是這個結(jié)構(gòu)，但是很別扭，因為發(fā)覺 returning是伴隨狀語，前面的句子結(jié)構(gòu)應(yīng)該是：animals were set free， returning 而不是狗主選的這個。這個是A答案，記得往下看看其他。不過其他都貌似更復(fù)雜。

　　15. 有一個both and 還有一個secere to /for/being sincere/having the sincerity /in?

　　Parallelism is marked by signals (words, but sometimes punctuation) – the words that follow these signals must be included in parallelism.

　　This animal lives both in grass and trees. -->wrong

　　(平行的句子有一種完美舒服的感覺)

　　BEING

　　Avoid "being" when expressing the IDENTITY or CHARACTERISTICS of some individual or thing. This is because "being" is usually unnecessary in such cases; there are simpler modifiers (such as appositives)

　　eg:

　　Being a cigar aficionado, john has strong opinions on when to use single-guillotine cigar cutters rather than double-guillotine cutters. --> Bad.

　　A cigar aficionado, john has strong opinions on when to use single-guillotine cigar cutters rather than double-guillotine cutters. --> good.

　　Notice that we can simply omit the "being" here.

　　(Nice litmus test: try omitting it and see whether the sentence is still viable, perhaps with minor modifications.)

　　So, to sum up:

　　If "being" expresses IDENTITY or CHARACTERISTICS, then kill it.

　　Otherwise, evaluate it on the same merits as you would any other verb.
