談概念隱喻理論與英語寫作教學

摘 要：隱喻不僅具有修辭功能，更重要的是一種思維方式；隱喻在語言中具有不可替代的作用。文章嘗試將認知隱喻理論中的一些相關(guān)概念，如映射理論、概念隱喻和隱喻表達式，應用于英語寫作教學，提出寫作中隱喻思維培養(yǎng)的重要性。

　　Abstract: Metaphor is not only a rhetoric device, but a matter of thought and action. The paper attempts to apply the conceptual metaphor theory to the teaching of English writing and further proposes that importance be attached to developing students’ metaphorical thinking in English writing.
